Hey Wonderful Creator! Who are you and where are you from?

I’m from a small island, Penang island located in Malaysia 🇲🇾. I love painting and do it at least once a week. When I was with my previous company, I host an artjam every Wednesday night and they called me as “Artjam CEO” . Hosting artjam wasn’t to be a CEO but more towards, I believe everyone can make good art if you’re willing to practice!

Why did you want to take part in The Wonderful Post Project?

I love sending postcards to myself and my family/friends, I believe in snail mail is still better than a WhatsApp/ Facebook message. I used to participate locally to send handwritten cards from my school but I never get to do so after leaving school 14yrs ago.

Tell us about your post recipient.
My recipient Heather loves unicorn (oh I love it too!), Harry Potter and llamas. Her sister wrote that Heather has been dealing with long term medication, I hope she is back in health soon.

What did you create and send for your Wonderful Post?
I created a watercolor painted card, specially designed a unicorn who has all Harry porter traits with some magic sparkles. Inside the card, lived a cool looking llama expressing his love to Heather and some small llama stickers on the card and the envelope.

What reaction do you hope/ imagine your recipient will have to their Wonderful Post?
I hope she smile and believe that magic happens everywhere and the most powerful magic is love. For this case love from her family to her is the greatest.

Describe the experience of taking part in The Wonderful Post Project.

I love it, it’s a new challenge and I also introduced this to some of my artjam friends to be a part of it. With this I can use what the recipient likings as a trivia to challenge myself to create different type of art.

Any advice for other Wonderful Post creators?

Do your best and do not procrastinate. Procrastinating will end up with them from the other side has to wait longer.
